Baptism is probably the single the most important event in the life of any Christian. It is the first formal step on the journey of faith. That journey is a long one and it is not always an easy path to tread but Jesus promises that he will always be beside us as we travel and it is in his strength that we carry on, even through the most difficult of times.
Baptism is entry into God's family, the Church and because it is such an important step, it should only be taken after serious thought.
Bringing a child up in the Christian faith is no easy task that is why we ask parents to look to Godparents for help and support. The Church family will also be on hand to to offer any help you might require.
CONTACT Steve Hill In Church after the morning service (10.30am) for further details. You will be expected to attend a baptism class the month BEFORE a proposed baptism. eg.
