The loss of a loved one is one of the biggest things that can happen to you and your family. You may be in a daze and cannot believe what has happened - there is so much to do. Family members and good friends will probably offer their support.
Whether you decide to have your funeral in Church or elsewhere the vicar if contacted is always willing to help. He is an independent person who can advise you and offer some guidance both in the practicallities of a funeral and in the funeral service itself. Usually the vicar will respond to your call immediately.
One of the first things you have to do, is call a Funeral Director who will help you with the pracical arrangements. If you have no personal preference there are some listed in the Huyton Herald.
