Huyton Parish Church

Church Accessibility

Huyton Parish Church is located on the corner of Bluebell Lane and Huyton Lane.

CAR PARKING

The church does not have a car park but on Sundays cars can be parked in Stanley Road and other side roads in the area. At other times there are two car parks within easy walking distance. Asda car park can be accessed from Huyton Lane and the other can be accessed from Arch Way Road. Members of staff, visiting clergy and others may park in the vicarage. This is by permission of the vicar/Church Wardens (Pease note the vicarage is at present being rented out and so consideration must be given to the folk who live there)

Wheelchair users and other people who have physical disabilities may find space on the layby on Huyton Lane close to the church. This is not an official parking space and requires a permit.

PLEASE NOTE

Due to the historic nature of the church, there are some access issues when getting from the pavement into the church grounds which may present difficulties for some people with disabilities. It is possible for people to gain entry into the church grounds for manual wheelchair using portable ramps which are available for use on the steps leading up from Bluebell Lane. If additional help is needed please contact Angela: admin@stmichaelshuyton.org  - Tel: 07926 693495
