Huyton Parish Church (St Michael’s) is situated on the corner of Bluebell Lane and Huyton Lane in a small conservation area. 

The community in which Huyton Parish Church is set is large and complex.

There are three very large housing estates originally owned by the local authority, but are now in the main owner occupied or in the hands of private landlords. 

Central to the parish is Huyton Village has gone through many changes from what was once a sleepy hamlet to now a thriving complex of offices and shops.

Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council and Merseyside Police are easily accessible from the pedestrianised shopping area with many coffeeshops and eateries frequented by locals and visitors alike. 

There are several primary schools within the parish, not least the church school, Huyton with Roby C of E Primary School situated in Rupert Road. There are several care homes within the parish and a small rehabilitation hospital providing health care for men and women with complex mental health needs.

Transport links are good with the bus station offering transport to the City of Liverpool and the railway station offering transport to Liverpool, St Helens and Manchester and beyond.
